1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to site owners.

Similar technologies include web beacons (small transparent images that track page visits), pixels (code snippets that report actions), and local storage (data stored in your browser). This notice covers all of these technologies collectively.

Cookies can be:

2. TYPES OF COOKIES WE USE

Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the Services to function. They enable core features like authentication, session management, and security. You cannot opt out of essential cookies without disabling the functionality they support.

Examples: keeping you logged in, maintaining your session security, preventing cross-site request forgery.

Functional Cookies

These cookies remember your preferences and settings to improve your experience — for example, remembering your dashboard filter state or sidebar position. They are not strictly necessary but make the product more useful.

Analytics Cookies

We may use analytics cookies to understand how users interact with our Services — which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and where errors occur. This helps us improve the product. Where used, this data is aggregated and not linked to individual identities.

At this time, Nvoyce does not use third-party analytics platforms (such as Google Analytics). If this changes, this notice will be updated and you will be informed.

Payment & Security Cookies

Our payment processor, Stripe, may set cookies necessary to process payments securely, detect fraud, and comply with financial regulations. These are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

5. HOW TO CONTROL COOKIES

Browser Settings

Most browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. Common paths:

Note: blocking essential cookies (particularly Clerk authentication cookies) will prevent you from logging in to Nvoyce.

Opt-Out of Analytics

Nvoyce does not currently use third-party analytics cookies. If we introduce analytics in the future, opt-out controls will be available and this notice will be updated.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. We currently do not alter our cookie behavior in response to DNT signals, as there is no industry-wide standard for interpreting them. If this changes, we will update this notice.

Global Privacy Control

Nvoyce supports the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal (navigator.globalPrivacyControl = true), we detect it and display an acknowledgment. Since Nvoyce does not sell or share your personal data for advertising or cross-context behavioral profiling, your GPC preference is honored by default — no opt-out action is required. GPC support satisfies the opt-out requirements of the CCPA/CPRA and similar US state laws.

6. UPDATES TO THIS NOTICE

We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time as our use of cookies evolves or applicable laws change. When we make material updates, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this notice periodically.
